Leipziger Strasse 1945 - 2005

What communism left in Berlin: thousands of people without aspirations of any kind, but corruption.

A well-intentioned beginning with a disastrous ending. What kind of igualitarism was communism if it was not able to bring freedom of choice?

Not even able to choose the color of my façade.

Thousands without hope.

This picture was not taken in the sixties, but in 2005. Thousands of people found their hope. The hope of founding a new state of entrepreneurship. That which grows on the will of newcomers who settle in new Berlin, and reach enough consensus to live with the past, with that of no hope.
